I saw Happy-Go-Lucky yesterday and it was a bad movie. I didn't like Sally Hawkins character, sorry! She was like a child, and almost insane!

It is first time when I write in guestbook online, but it is also first time when I can say that adaptation is better than book itself. I have just seen Persuasion and I totally admire Sally's performance. I cannot imagine better acctress and I long to see more of her movies.

Greetings from Kansas City, Missouri. I  Sally and think she is more talented than a handful of Hollywood actresses. I first saw her in "Layer Cake" and have gone on to witness her brilliant performances in "Persuasion", "Fingersmith", "Vera Drake", and "Tipping the Velvet".
Can't wait to see "Happy-Go-Lucky", as Sally and the always brilliant Mike Leigh are a winning combination. Sally is an amazing actress and I wish her all the best continued success. Her talent resonates and even reaches us here in Middle America. Cheers!

I loved Sally in Persuasion. So lovely and fragile, her performance broke my heart. Her facial expressions reveal Anne Elliots' heart and mind. Her eyes captivate you. Bravo. Wish I could have seen Miss Sally on stage.
